SPONSOR A DOG

macFor some of our dogs, finding a home is extremely hard. This can be because of the age, breed, or long term treatment that some stray/abandoned dogs may need, In particular as some of the dogs that we rescue might have a behaviour problem, which some families might not be able to cope with unless they were animal experts.

These dogs will probably have to stay under our care for a very long time and sponsoring helps to cover some of the huge costs involved during their period of stay with us. Help us to maintain a happy and deserving good life for our long term dogs.

''We never put an animal to sleep' unless it’s very ill and only then under our vet’s recommendation

milly milly
MILLY - Born approx 2001. She is quite small size podenco female. Milly has been many years at the refuge. Milly almost died because of bad infection in uterus.Milly doesn't get along with other females.
Milly is nice, trustfull older lady. When somebody cuddles her, she turns on her back and demands belly cuddles.  Milly loves people especialy children. Leash behaviour is perfect, even child can go walk Milly without fear. She has been at the refuge for about 5 years and is bound to be spending the rest of her life in there

.flossy

Flossy came to us in 2006 as a puppy. We have looked after her ever since. In all those years people have passed her bye and she has become institutionised. Flossy is very funny, she holds up her food bowl when its feed time. She loves her walks and walks very well on a leash and is ok with most other dogs and she dont seem to be bothered by cats either. Its a real shame that nobody has wanted to give her a home.
